“Game On!” was created with the aim of introducing gamification into cultural processes, with a specific focus on the development of new digital educational products dedicated to children. A new model for educating children in the humanities, arts and culture, based on greater cross-pollination between digital products and “traditional” educational programmes.
The widespread application of gamification still presents some problems that undermine the link between gamification and formal education. In light of this, the “Game On!” project aims to develop an innovative interdisciplinary kit of digital educational products for children, using gamification in three different disciplines: international literature, cultural heritage and landscape protection, and visual arts history. The educational platform is designed for children aged 6 to 11, with a transnational exchange of good practices between partners and a manual of good practices in the use of gamification in the cultural and creative sector, with a ‘GO! Learning Kit’ providing guidelines for its use.

Game On! was designed with the ultimate goal of facilitating children’s access to cultural education, using digital tools and game-based models that are more familiar to young digital natives. The updated version of the kit was presented at a final transnational event and published on a relevant educational platform to promote its dissemination, scalability and adoption in Europe.
